Glacier Climbing in Iceland

T-Minus 3 days til Maui Hawaii calls my name. Lots of stuff to do planning wise. I finally got around to going out and shooting with the new Nikkor 16mm fisheye I got in the mail a few days ago.. Awesome all around lens!

Southern Iceland has some of the most rugged terrain and amazing glaciers I have ever seen. I took this one when walking down the glacier at Skaftafell National Park just before a nasty storm rolled in..

It’s Friday and time to head for drier ground. Rain is pouring down outside as I write this post in the early hours of the Seattle morning, there must be somewhere to shoot this weekend, it’s time I find out where.
I am considering teaching a free Photography 101 Class over Christmas in the city, it would be free to anyone and everyone. Let me know if you are interested!

I barely remember taking this shot at Svartifoss last summer in Iceland, when the sun never sets sleep is hard to come by and everything feels like a dream.
